How do I get to the restaurant?

You can find Lowlander Botanical Bar at Waterfront, Gedempt Hamerkanaal 201, 1021 KP in Amsterdam. There are different ways to reach us:

Public Transport: Ferry/Metro
Lowlander Botanical Bar & Restaurant is easily accessible from Amsterdam Central Station by free ferry to IJplein (20 minutes walk) or by metro (line 52) to Noorderpark stop (10 minutes walk).

In addition, the exit from the A10 ring road is only a few minutes away. For TomTom, use: Gedempt Hamerkanaal 201

Touring Coaches
Touring coaches can drive onto the site free of charge to drop off/pick up guests. Long-term parking is not allowed for coaches.

By Boat
There is a public pier in the canal next to our restaurant that can be used.

Can I park my car at the restaurant?

Yes, there is the possibility for (paid) parking on our site. Rates are as follows:

NEXT HOUR € 2.50
NEXT HOUR € 3.50
NEXT HOUR € 5.00
Outside our site, the rate is € 1.40 per hour from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM. Outside these hours parking is free of charge.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are welcome on our terrace and in the Cafe section of the restaurant.

Do you have high chairs?

Yes, we have a number of high chairs available.

Can I visit Lowlander Botanical Bar & Restaurant with a group?

Yes, for groups bigger than 12 people, you can reserve a spot in a semi-private area in the restaurant, unfortunately we do not offer the option to rent a private room for groups. To make a reservation please contact us by phone at 020 634 4000 or by email at For groups below 12 people, you can simply reserve a table through our reservation system.

Can I organize a private event at your location?

Yes, for an exclusive event or dinner, you can reserve a spot in our private area in the restaurant, or you can rent out the restaurant and/or terrace. Please contact us by phone at 020 634 4000 or by email at to discuss the possibilities.

Do you also offer take-out or delivery?

No, currently we do not offer the option to take out or deliver food.

Do you serve gluten-free and vegan dishes?

Yes, our menu is very diverse. We have a plant based menu and we serve multiple dishes that are suitable for guests with various dietary requirements.
